The nightmare of a tragedy all of this is. The oppressed people who think Trump will lift them out of their oppression and make their lives better. My grandfather told my dad who told me that the only thing I need to be as a good citizen. I’m not sure if my grandfather would’ve supported Trump sadly and I know my Did the last few years before he died My mother also supports this non-empathetic man. It’s a travesty. It is so difficult to live around others, whose empathy only surrounds a select few and keeps getting less and less. Less and less people wanna be around these people. I am relieved and also very sad that my family is not part of that group who has determined that this man is a sociopath and should never have led a country.
If we can just imagine a world where leaders may have followed, the principles Roosevelt set forth and maybe even Wallace who came after him. I think us thinking about all the complexities and what brings about a better world for all of us would result in a better outcome for all of us as well. How wonderful it would be to look at our neighbor again and think we will take care of them instead of how bad our neighbor is because they believe a certain belief politically, religiously, or like.
These conservatives who rely on the so-called nanny state creating welfare queens is such callousness, and definitely not being a good citizen. Yes, many policies are inefficient. Do not work as planned and can hurt the general population by taking more money away from them. We are always going to have examples of an efficiencies and how these policies hurt others. When two parties keep fighting about these policies instead of working together to make better ones they basically create and even worse world. When you take away so many government officials that they can no longer perform their jobs you just have a very angry government or frustrated government and people who will be very horrible at their jobs because they don’t love their job. I don’t care about their job and they’re burned out through all the inefficiencies. There might be quite a few people helped, but a lot of people are harmed to buy these inefficiencies and they make a world a worst place.
These so-called people who are worried about Communists what a stupid belief system this is. Communism is not communism. Capitalism is not capitalism. They are concepts that the powerful create to keep us down. if you look at how communism started, you’ll look at how it was a reaction to the elite oppressing others, which sadly the elite did not change How they thought about their neighbor. Their neighbor needed to be controlled so that their Power could remain in place. It is about keeping power no matter what. Stalin and Mao knew this.
It is the darker part of the human race which realize more on the amygdala than the prefrontal cortex. Overpowering others instead of being with others. Crazily enough, these concepts these very abstract concepts that people use to propagate their own power are very similar when broken down. At their essence both belief systems are based on improving the well-being of each person when is done with competition and the other one is done with cooperation. Both ideas in themselves are neutral. They become toxic when those empower tell you what they mean.
The wealthiest communis Communist and capitalist countries appear very similar when looking at their power dynamics and who they are oppressing. They do seem to offer different Benefits to itsv citizens to keep them in line. They also do everything they can to squash them further through surveillance. and oppressive technologies.
I started this thread with the idea of how we give so much more money to the war machine than we do to the welfare of the human race. We would rather support horrible wars than support, universal healthcare, and the United States kinda stands out alone on this one because many industrialized nations have better healthcare systems in this horrible mess that we’re in that basically rewards the elite and keeps our health and sub optimal conditions. We have enough healthcare to keep the masses at Bay. Basically we find ways to keep the masses that day just like the communist system does. Will give just enough to make sure they will keep us in charge basically is their motto.
I guess this is where democracy fails us. You can only keep individuals Working together and creating benefit for each other for so long until some sociopath comes along and dominates the group through deception And Power. So much of our democracy would continue to be more like a democracy if there was integrity, but instead of integrity staying in control has taken over.
